SD Times Highlights CollabNet in Story About Agile as a Catalyst for the Digital Transformation

I recently had a conversation with Christina Mulligan from SD Times about the digital revolution and the role Agile has played as a catalyst for the incredible amount of software taking over our world.

The importance of Agile as a methodology and practice is increasing across industries. This is because these methodologies help expedite the development and delivery of quality software. Plus the growing interest in Agile and the demand for ALM solutions go hand in hand. While Agile continues to evolve as a way to align development with external customer needs, Agile alone is not enough.

As I told Christina, organizations still struggle with how to prioritize, reward, and support enabling infrastructure changes, cross-discipline integrations, and long-term modernization initiatives. Agile has set the stage for ALM and DevOps solutions that can integrate point tools used in the software development and delivery process, and through that integration, enhance inter-team collaboration and governance and compliance, as well as allow for scaling software development using Agile principles.

This article discusses the changing landscape around software development and provides a variety of viewpoints, including mine, on key considerations for businesses that are competing in today’s world.
