How do software quality tools like Test Director (HP) and Caliber (Borland) fit into the Scrum methodology?
@Bill Collins
Scrum requires that each sprint end with a fully functional and fully tested product increment so whatever requirements gathering/management is required in your organization and whatever testing you do to release has to be done each sprint. Scrum is agnostic with respect to specific tools, but the underlying agile principle is that we value “individuals & interactions OVER processes & Tools.” As long as your tools don’t interfere with Scrum and Agile priniciples it’s up to the team to decide how to best use these tools.
