Vic’s Picks: Martin Fowler – Is Design Dead?

Martin Fowler’s article “Is Design Dead?” addresses the role of design in this era of Agile/XP.

In particular, I like his characterization of XP practices liked TDD, aggressive refactoring, and continuous integration as the “enabling practices” that flatten the traditional cost of change curve. The approach to design he expouses seems modern yet comprehensive at the same time. Any thoughts?
